Stranded US senior citizens get a taste of Irish hospitality
Many people from all around the world were recently stranded in Ireland when European air space shut down due to the eruption of the Iceland volcano; many of these people were American Tourists.
It is good to know however, that Irish hospitality & the true sense of ‘céad míle fáilte,’ a hundred thousand welcomes, is still alive & well! We are proud that our sister company, Cronins Coaches, was recently featured for its exemplary actions during this recent crisis, which was cited in the Irish Times last Friday, April 23rd.
Cronins donated a tour bus to a group of US Senior Citizens stranded in Ireland after their flight arrangements were cancelled. The article notes, ‘they secured a coach from Cronins “for almost nothing, just the cost of the fuel” and set up an itinerary of events to entertain the group.’
