TOUR DESCRIPTION:
Depart the port for a short introductory tour of Dublin City. Dublin is the capital of the Republic of Ireland and sits on a splendid bay at the mouth of the River Liffey with the foothills of the Wicklow Mountains rising from its southern suburbs. It is internationally noted for its writers, Georgian architecture, witty natives and the production of Guinness! Since its beginning as an ecclesiastical settlement it has over time been a key Viking raiding and trading base, a Norman stronghold, second city of the British Empire and capital of an independent state.

After the short city tour, you will go on the Sea Safari tour of Dublin Bay. Aboard specially designed RIB’s (Rigid Inflatable Boats), the Sea Safari tour incorporates a unique and often stunning exploration of the rich bird and wildlife of the area, as well as an informative guide to the local history, culture and heritage of Dublin Bay. Sites regularly visited include Lambay Island, Dalkey Island and Killiney Bay. And with the possibility of seeing dolphins, seals, porpoises, kittiwakes, cormorants, puffins and much more, Sea Safari truly is something that should not be missed. Forget the weather; the Sea Safari operates safely February to November in almost all weather conditions. All passengers are kitted out so they remain dry and safe throughout the trip even when it’s raining.
Afterwards complete the city tour before returning to Dublin Port.
