TOUR DESCRIPTION:
Depart Dublin port and enjoy the leisurely and tranquil drive into North County Dublin to Malahide Castle. Visit Malahide Castle, one of Ireland’s oldest and most historic castles. Richard Talbot founded the estate in the 12th century. Malahide Castle is the oldest castle to be continually inhabited by the same family who lived there until 1976. During tours of the halls and rooms it is possible to see one of the best collections of Irish period furniture, and a unique collection of Irish historical portraits in oils from the collection of the late Lord Talbot de Malahide. The 20-acre garden situated in the 270 acres Malahide Demesne was largely created by Lord Milo Talbot de Malahide between 1948 and 1973.There are in excess of five thousand species and varieties plants and trees represented in the gardens.

After your visit depart Malahide Castle for the village of Malahide stopping off for an Irish coffee or a drink in a pub adjacent to the village of Malahide or in Howth or indeed just enjoy free time in the village of Malahide.
Return along the coast road, which will afford excellent panoramic views of Dublin Bay before driving back to the ship.

The tour may vary depending on the number of participants and if you operate it in the AM or PM - You could operate in both the Morning and the afternoon - again this will alleviate too many people being at the same place at the same time
