Depart Dublin port and enjoy the leisurely and tranquil drive into North County Dublin to Malahide Castle. Visit Malahide Castle, one of Ireland’s oldest and most historic castles. Richard Talbot founded the estate in the 12th century. Malahide Castle is the oldest castle to be continually inhabited by the same family who lived there until 1976. During tours of the halls and rooms it is possible to see one of the best collections of Irish period furniture, and a unique collection of Irish historical portraits in oils from the collection of the late Lord Talbot de Malahide. .
After your visit depart Malahide Castle for the village of Malahide stopping off for an Irish coffee or a drink in a pub adjacent to the village of Malahide or in Howth or indeed just enjoy free time in the village of Malahide or enjoy lunch - booked or lunch at clients own expense.
