Until Decemer 2010, the National Museum of Ireland will showcase the Irish High Cross in a new exhibition. This exhibition “brings together 6 plaster-of-Paris casts along with a selection of early Medieval treasures. You will be able to examine and compare how the High Crosses of early Christian Ireland were decorated with pictures, which taught biblical stories to the largely illiterate population.”
