|
In all circumstances Specialized Travel Services endeavor is to insure the most suitable product for our customers. Our service begins with the first phone call, and continues during your stay in Ireland and beyond. |

|
|
DEPOSITS |
|
|
A non-refundable deposit amounting to 10% of the total value of the arrangements made is required to confirm reservations. The booking is only confirmed when the deposit is received. |
|
|
|
| FINAL PAYMENT |
|
The balance of payment must reach Specialized Travel Services 6 weeks prior to your arrival, unless alternative arrangements have been made. We reserve the right to withdraw all, or part of the services if this condition is not complied with. |

|
CANCELLATION FEES |
|
In the event of cancellation, where the clients need to cancel for any reason prior to tour departure, all efforts will be made to secure a refund from the services and properties involved. However it should be noted that the following cancellation fees would be levied, depending on the date of cancellation; |

Non Refundable deposit : 10%
31 to 45 days : 25%
8 to 30 days : 35%
2 to 7 days : 50%
Within 24 hours : 100% |
|
|
Special deposit and cancellation terms may apply for different services, and if so will be supplied with booking confirmation |
|
|
UNUSED TOUR VOUCHERS
|
|
Any unused tour vouchers for hotels, Bed & Breakfast's, car rental or any other unused services are not exchangeable or refundable |
|
|
| LAND REVISION FEE |
|
Any revision to land arrangements made after the original booking has been processed will incur a $50.00 handling fee per booking. Clients will also be liable for any additional cancellation penalties incurred by suppliers. Specialized Travel Services cannot accept revisions within 14 days of departure or once documents have been issued. |

| DOCUMENTATION |
|
|
All Tour documentation will be sent out approximately 21 days prior to the departure of the tour, provided full payment has been received. In the event this is not acceptable, we require sufficient notice in order to avoid express shipping charges. If we are not given sufficient notice, the passenger or travel agent will be responsible for express delivery charges. |

|
CAR RENTAL INSURANCE |
|
All self-drive cars in Ireland include unlimited mileage, local taxes and third party insurance. This means that if you have an accident, the other party is covered. |
|
|
Under the third party insurance policy, the hirer is responsible for all damage to the rental car and must have an imprint of a major credit card with the car rental company at the start of the rental to cover any damages that may occur. The hirer can indemnify himself/herself against damage to the rental car (excluding the first IE200 plus tax) by taking a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) at a supplementary charge. This can be included or excluded in the car hire charge. |

The driver and passengers in a rental car may choose to take out Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) to cover injuries received while driving. This is at a supplemented cost and can be paid directly to the car hire company. |
|
|
Hirer must be between 24 and 75 years of age. For certain car groups other restrictions may apply. Drivers must hold a valid driving licence which they have held for at least 2 years prior to rental. |
|
|
Gasoline is the hirer's responsibility and is not included in the car price. |
|
|
The additional charges to cover an additional driver are payable at the start of hire directly to the car hire company. |
|
|
PAYMENT |
|
Payment is accepted by Credit Card - Visa & Mastercard are the preferred cards. Payment by check, wire transfer or bank draft is accepted. |

|
| LIABILITY |
|
All documents are issued, and all arrangements covering hotel accommodation, transport, tours, transfers and all other services required by the traveler, are made on the explicit understanding that Specialized Travel Services act only as an Agent and as such admit no liabilities whatsoever for any loss, damage, delay or injury to persons or property arising out of, or in any connection with any act of neglect or default however caused, either directly or indirectly by the principals or persons or their agents or servants, who shall provide such hotel accommodation, transport, tours, transfers or all other services provided. |

| TIPS |
|
Tips for services of a personal nature and to the tour director / driver are not included in the tour cost and left at your discretion. |
|
|
NOT INCLUDED
|
|
All items of a personal nature (room service, beverages, telephone charges, laundry, special food requests, etc.) and meals not specified on the tour itinerary are not included and must be paid by the passenger. |

|
IMPORTANT NOTE ON PRICES |
|
Prices quoted are based on external supplier costs and rate fluctuations. Rates are unlikely to change unless there are extreme exchange rate fluctuations or surcharges by hotels or other service providers. Participants who have paid in full are protected from any exchange rate adjustments. |

|
TRAVEL PROTECTION |
|
Specialized Travel Services strongly recommends Travel Insurance to cover trip cancellation & interruption, medical & health insurance, loss of baggage or trip delay. |
